The Science Behind LOD Protect and Shielded UVC Technology

LOD Protect products have been tested and certified in a P4 biosafety laboratory in France. The products were tested by recreating an environment contaminated with SARS-COV-2, by producing the virus in very high quantities. The UV disinfection devices were then placed in the contaminated environment to test the effectiveness of the devices. There were very significant results on the SARS-COV-2 virus: the LOD Protect products killed 99% of viruses and bacteria.

Therefore, LOD Protect products have been proven highly effective at reducing the concentration of harmful pathogens in the air and protecting people from exposure to dangerous viruses and bacteria.

LOD Protect products use shielded UVC light to destroy the DNA and RNA of a pathogen, deactivating it and making DNA replication impossible, therefore, destroying the pathogen.
